Any Second Now has 'good chance' - but Ted Walsh sees key rival as one to beat

Ted Walsh thinks whichever horse finishes in front of Delta Work will win the Randox Grand National and hopes Any Second Now will be the one to do just that.

The trainer said he is just as happy with the ante-post favourite as he was going into the race 12 months ago when his ten-year-old was a luckless third to Minella Times.

Any Second Now, owned by JP McManus, was brought to a standstill by the fall of Double Shuffle at the 12th fence in last year's race, an incident which saw him forced back towards the rear of the field, having been positioned in the first half-dozen through the early stages. Therefore, he did remarkably well to recover and be beaten only eight and a quarter lengths.
