ITV Racing will broadcast all of Saturday’s action at Ascot as viewers gear up for the hotly anticipated Qipco British Champions Day. There will be six races on show at Ascot, featuring four Group 1s, a Group 2 and a top handicap bid to send out a strange Flat season with a bang.

This weekend’s racing promises to be as exciting as ever and the Racing Post experts have picked out the best tips for all the televised races to help you find more winners.

Don't forget you can download the Racing Post app and place your bets with our seven bookmaker partners without having to switch applications.

British Champions Day: ITV Racing Tips

Racing Post expert Stuart Redding picks his best bets for British Champions Day at Ascot in a bid to help you find more winners.

1.20: Qipco British Champions Long Distance Cup

At the prices, I would go for an each-way such as Spanish Mission. He was no match for Stradivarius in the Goodwood Cup on his final stat for David Simcock but he has scored two emphatic victories since joining Andrew Balding, most recently landing the Doncaster Cup with plenty left in the tank.

1.55: Qipco British Champions Sprint Stakes

Dream Of Dreams looked the pick of the 6f sprinters when winning at Haydock last month and he can confirm that assessment. In the Haydock Sprint Cup last time out he took a while to reel in Golden Horde but was comfortably on top by the line and the extra stamina he possesses could be crucial on the soft ground.

ITV7 tips and predictions

The ITV7 competition is back for Ascot Champions Day and is completely free to play, with a potential £100,000 up for grabs. Users will need a Sky Bet account to enter so if you don't already have an account, sign up using the link above and take advantage of the free bet offer. The Racing Post experts make their selections for the competition to help you find more winning selections.

Race 1 - 13.55 Ascot

The Sir Michael Stoute-trained Dream Of Dreams (nap) has taken his form to the next level this season, winning the Group 1 Sprint Cup at Haydock last time out on soft ground, and he went very close in the Diamond Jubilee over course and distance at the Royal meeting. He should be tough to beat.

Race 2 - 14.25 Leopardstown

It will be tough to get the better of a bang in form Laughifuwant (nap). The five-year-old has been in the form of his life in recent starts and was only narrowly denied by a smart sort in a Group 3 at Tipperary last time out.

Race 3 - 14.30 Ascot

This looks open but a serious test on soft or heavy ground should be ideal for Dame Malliot. This looks the right opportunity for Dame Malliot to return to the form which saw her beat the males in the Princess Of Wales's Stakes at Newmarket in July.

Race 4 - 15.00 Leopardstown

The preference is for Federal. The turn of foot the latter displayed when winning his maiden here on debut, is still fresh in the memory bank and he looks a quality performer.

Race 5 - 15.05 Ascot

The short odds about Palace Pier look justified as he's extremely progressive, remains unbeaten and has the best chance on ratings. He's taken to extend his winning sequence, possibly at the main expense of last year's runner-up The Revenant.

Race 6 - 15.40 Ascot

The preference is for the French raider Skalleti who has looked strong Group 1 material when delivered late in the day to take his 1m2f Group races in the mud on home soil.

Race 7 - 16.15 Ascot

Preference is for Prince Eiji who was fourth in a hot renewal of the Listed Wolferton Stakes on soft ground at the Royal meeting here and that performance reads very well in this context, especially as he faded late on over 1m2f.
