It could all be about one man once again, whether you are watching in Georgia, Japan or Dewsbury.

Although no racegoers will be allowed at Ascot for Qipco British Champions Day, the action will be available by Racecourse Media Group to television viewers in no fewer than 125 countries – with first-time broadcasters FOX Sports offering it to US punters reeling from the intellectual rigour of the presidential race.

Britain's racing promoters would tell you it is the perfect showcase for the country's top-class bloodstock, doing battle on a course redolent with history, in age-old races won by turf legends in years gone by.
