Who are the ten best horses in Europe this year based on RPRs?
Baaeed heads into Royal Ascot as the best horse in Europe with a Racing Post Rating of 129+, though the impressive Lockinge winner will have to go some to post another improved figure as the red-hot favourite for the Queen Anne Stakes.
With 7lb in hand of his nearest rival, the Lockinge runner-up Real World, Baaeed would likely need to exceed the Newbury margin of three and a quarter lengths to raise his rating further. Although he was a wide margin winner in his early races, to do so on Tuesday would really put him among the elite.
Fellow four-year-old Bay Bridge sits second on current RPRs with his mark of 126 from an impressive winning reappearance in the Brigadier Gerard last month. While he has a lot more on his plate stepping into Group 1 company for the first time, he made a big impression at Sandown and this is far from a vintage renewal of the Prince of Wales's Stakes.
