What was your big break?
I could easily say it was Mister Baileys winning the 2,000 Guineas but I worked for Milton Bradley in Wales, I went to the Racing School, Luca Cumani looked after me, and then there was Mark Johnston and Mister Baileys. So it wasn't one thing in particular, it was more like four steps. On the TV side, Jim Ramsey, who owned a horse I rode for Rod Millman called Aldahe, helped me a lot. He was a big part of the racing channels and Channel 4 Racing.
