'Enable could win a third Arc on that showing' - Michael Holding joins our panel
Trainer Donnacha O'Brien and jockey Jamie Spencer also answer the key questions
Who would you choose in a head to head between Love and Serpentine?
Oli Bell, ITV broadcaster If they were evens each of two then I’d take Love. I think the way Love won the Oaks was pure class – that was a spine-tingling performance. It may be Serpentine proves himself to be a brilliant Derby winner but right now I would side with Love.
Pat Cooney, bet365 I’d be with Love all day long, and the fillies’ allowance would be a bonus. Love has proved she’s the best three-year-old filly around this season, and maybe one of the best in recent years, whereas we all need to watch Serpentine again to see if he’s the best colt at a mile and a half.
Michael Holding, cricket legend I don’t like comparing men and women much and I doubt the two will ever run against each other but what I will say is that I thought the Derby was a better race than the Oaks.
