International recruits announced for next Godolphin Flying Start intake

Students from six different countries have been announced for the next intake of the Godolphin Flying Start Thoroughbred Industry Management and Leadership Programme which is due to commence at Darley's Kildangan Stud in August.
The 12 trainees are from a mixture of racing and breeding strongholds and emerging nations including India, Morocco and Spain with the majority of the students - five - hailing from Ireland, three are from the United Kingdom and one from New Zealand.
Announcing the successful applicants Clodagh Kavanagh, executive director of the programme said: “We are thrilled to welcome the 23rd intake of Godolphin Flying Start trainees this August. Their diverse talents and passion for the industry will sustain them as they commence the professional and personal development provided to them by Godolphin Flying Start."
The 2025 – 2027 trainees are: Luke O’Neill, Ireland; Saad Saidi, Morocco; Kitty Ashby, UK; Tara Carroll, Ireland; Adrian Redondo, Spain; Jamie O’Connor, Ireland; Mageswar Periasamy Vishakan, India; Harry Winnard, UK; Emma Dillon, Ireland; Callum Jeffries, New Zealand; Raphael McCall, UK and Emma Hunter, Ireland
Lasting two years, and accredited by University College Dublin (UCD)'s Michael Smurfit Business School, the programme takes place at Godolphin bases in Ireland, the UK, Australia, Dubai and the USA and includes modules in business management, leadership, horsemanship and international bloodstock as well as work placements outside the wider Godolphin family.
Since the programme began in 2003, 236 people have graduated from Godolphin Flying Start and according the statistics released by the organisation, 88 per cent of graduates remain employed within the industry in a wide variety of roles.
