Motherwell Long-term injury victim David Turnbull is out. There are doubts over Barry Maguire, Jamie Semple, Devante Cole and Charles Dunne. New Newcastle loanee Rolando Aarons could feature.

Celtic Mikey Johnston, Jeremie Frimpong, Nir Bitton, Mohamed Elyounoussi and Hatem Elhamed are injured for Celtic.

Celtic have stepped up a gear when necessary recently and they should be able to hold off a spirited Motherwell side at Fir Park.

The Hoops fought back from a goal behind against ten-man Hamilton on Sunday and are again in Lanarkshire for the clash with the third-placed team in the league.

Motherwell were utterly abject at Livingston at the weekend, but they have generally been excellent this season and Stephen Robinson should get a tune out of them in response.

Celtic's new formation has provided more entertainment and has seen plenty of goals. They could come at both ends at Motherwell but the champions are likelier to score more.
