Serie A
2pm Saturday

It's second versus third at the Stadio Olimpico this afternoon as Serie A heavyweights Roma and Napoli go head-to-head.

Hosts Roma are unbeaten in 12 league games at home this season and are 11-10 to extend that sequence against the Light Blues, who they have beaten in their last three Serie A encounters.

With powerhouse striker Edin Dzeko in fine form – he is joint top-scorer in Italy having netted 19 goals – they certainly have the firepower to oblige for favourite backers but it is unlikely to be a walk in the park against a Napoli side who have scored a league-high 30 away goals this term.

However, Maurizio Sarri’s men will need to bounce back from consecutive away defeats after losing to Atalanta in the league a week ago and Juventus in Tuesday’s Coppa Italia quarter-final.

They are 27-10 to do just that in the Italian capital and with the likes of Lorenzo Insigne and playmakers Marek Hamsik and Jose Callejon they could cause the hosts plenty of problems.

There has been only one draw in the sides’ last 11 meetings but this instalment looks a tough game to call so at the prices it could be better to bank on an entertaining encounter between Serie A’s two leading goalscorers at 6-11 with 188Bet.

The Serie A title looks to be heading Juventus’s way for a sixth consecutive season, but neither of these sides are likely to go down without a fight.
