Schalke can squeak past bottom side

Schalke stretched their unbeaten run to eight at rivals Dortmund but it was the manner of their draw in the Revierderby – they came back from 4-0 down – which has sent spirits soaring.

They can now turn their attention to the Bundesliga’s bottom side Cologne, who are still without a win, though their last four away trips – three one-goal losses and a draw – have at least showed a competitive edge.
