Getafe v Villarreal

Villarreal booked their place in the Champions League semi-finals for only the second time on Tuesday but they could be nursing a hangover from the hard-fought 1-1 draw with Bayern Munich.

Manager Unai Emery caught the headlines for making 11 changes to his team for their La Liga fixture with Athletic Bilbao last weekend following the first leg with Bayern and he could again rotate personnel.

His side are unlikely to force their way into the top six in La Liga so the Champions League is sure to take priority, and they may not be firing on all cylinders in their visit to Getafe.

The hosts, meanwhile, are in need of points as they try to pull away from the relegation zone and they possess one of the division's sharpest forwards in Enes Unal, who has 14 league goals this term and can help them earn a draw.

These sides have drawn 21 league games between them and another stalemate looks likely.

Freiburg v Bochum

Although aided by a missed penalty from Moussa Diaby, Bochum earned a point against Bayer Leverkusen last Sunday and appear to be potentially slippery opponents for Freiburg.

They are, however, far better on home soil than on their travels with seven of their ten league victories having come at the Ruhrstadion this term.

And they could leave the Black Forest region pointless as Freiburg are fresh from victory over Eintracht Frankfurt and in hot pursuit of a Champions League berth. Back them to collect maximum points.

Cagliari v Sassuolo

Qualification for European competition may be out of reach for Sassuolo this season but they are a team to watch next campaign, having lit up Serie A in the early stages of 2022.

The Black and Greens overpowered Atalanta last time out, having also claimed the scalps of bigger clubs Inter and Fiorentina since February.

They have lost only once in their last eight contests and possess a seriously exciting attack comprising Giacomo Raspadori, Gianluca Scamacca and Domenico Berardi, with the talented Maxime Lopez bringing everything together in midfield.

Finishing the season strongly will be important for this young side and they can continue their fine run with a win away to Cagliari, who they beat in the Coppa Italia in January and who have lost 17 league fixtures this season.
