Valencia have lost the opening leg in each of their two Copa del Rey trips to Sporting Gijon and Getafe and they could be set for another slow start in their semi-final showdown with Real Betis.

The Bats have made the last four of the Copa del Rey for the second season in succession, but their cup heroics have been largely down to their form at the Mestalla and their road woes could once again leave them playing catch-up.

Valencia trail Betis by two points in La Liga, with only three wins from their 11 away games, and they find themselves as low as eighth having been in title reckoning at this stage last season.

Betis, on the other hand, rarely disappoint in front of their own fans and have conceded only one goal in three successful home Copa del Rey ties.

They were also deserving 1-0 winners at home to title chasers Atletico Madrid last weekend. Los Rojiblancos, who arrived in Seville unbeaten in 18 league games, forced just one shot on target with French talisman Antoine Griezmann and former Chelsea man Alvaro Morata lacking ideas.

That hard-fought victory would have given Betis plenty of belief and with Sergio Leon, Sergio Canales and veteran Joaquin in their ranks, they have enough attacking quality to seize the initiative.

Recommendation
Real Betis draw no bet
