PEC Zwolle v Willem II
7pm Friday

After 11 matches in the Eredivisie, Zwolle find themselves just one point better off than Willem II, but expect the hosts to widen the gap when the struggling pair do battle at the Mac3Park Stadion.

Neither side has had much to cheer about in the early stages of the season but Zwolle have put together some solid performances in recent weeks and armed with home advantage they make plenty of appeal.

The Bluefingers lost their opening three home games but a 2-0 victory over Excelsior followed by a hard-fought 1-1 draw with fourth-placed Heracles suggests they may be improving.

And while Zwolle look to be getting better, Willem are on a sharp decline and have failed to win any of their last eight league games.

Their struggles have been more evident on the road, with their only away success from six outings coming at basement boys Groningen.

Manager Adrie Koster should be even more concerned with their away woes given they have failed to win at both second-bottom Breda and fourth-bottom De Graafschap.

They have conceded 16 of their 21 goals on their travels and shipped two or more in each of their last five. Zwolle, spearheaded by Mike van Duinen and talented youngster Vito van Crooij, have the attacking quality to capitalise against their sloppy visitors.
