Nimes have been no pushovers in recent contests and it could take Marseille time to find a way through at the Stade des Costieres.

The hosts went on a run of wins against Monaco, Dijon, Nice and Angers before a 2-1 defeat to Rennes, in which they held their own but struggled after being reduced to ten men early in the second half.

Marseille are clearly emerging as best of the rest in Ligue 1 and the likes of Dimitri Payet and Dario Benedetto should help them get the job done but they may have to wait until the second period.
