BT Sport Extra 1, 6pm Wednesday

It's a heroic homecoming for Rennes after they lifted the Coupe de France on Saturday and they look a big price to follow up by beating strugglers Monaco.

Odds of 5-2 about Rennes certainly reflect the fact that Monaco, just three points clear of the drop zone, need the win far more than the hosts, who sit mid-table in Ligue 1.

And coach Julien Stephan did promise the party of all parties as he celebrated with his team after their incredible shootout success against Paris Saint-Germain at the weekend.

But this looks like a free shot for the Bretons who, under no pressure, are a decent price to win on home soil where they have been decent.

Ignore their recent form of no wins in six in the league. They’ve been treading water in Ligue 1 for a while with twin Europa League and Coupe de France commitments, both of which are now over.

And Monaco, no matter how well rested or how motivated, are 11 points worse off than Rennes for a reason.

Cesc Fabregas is one of a number of absentees for Leonardo Jardim, whose team are without a win in four and struggling to find the net if Radamel Falcao is having a quiet game.

They’ve scored just two goals in their last four games and have won only one of their last eight away assignments.
