Leganes’ form has taken a dip but a trip to an out-of-sorts Levante could be the perfect way for them to rediscover the winning touch.

The visitors lost just two of their opening nine league games but have won only one from six since and they travel to Valencia after four successive away defeats.

However, a 3-1 win at home to Villarreal just over a fortnight ago shows they have not completely lost the plot and they have shipped just eight times in eight road league games.

Only heavyweights Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid have conceded fewer league goals than Leganes this term and a solid defensive performance could be key to them claiming all three points.

Levante are winless in five league matches on their own patch and a side so short on confidence could be frustrated by the visitors' patient approach.

The hosts have notched just once in four league outings and look worth taking on.
