A four-game losing streak had put Eibar into the La Liga relegation zone but four points in their last three fixtures has eased fears of the drop a little. The 3-0 victory over Granada in their last home fixture was particularly important.

A visit from Atletico Madrid though will be a far sterner examination for Jose Luis Mendilibar's side. Despite losing only two league games all season too many draws have so far plagued Diego Simeone's side and this trip to Eibar has the potential to be tricky.

Atletico are returning to Spain after a trip to Saudi Arabia for the Supercopa, in which they beat Barcelona 3-2 before a penalty shootout loss to city rivals Real in the final. They should be too good for Eibar.

La Liga's draw specialists collide at El Sadar. Both Osasuna and Real Valladolid have drawn nine of their 19 league fixtures this season and another tight game could be in store.

Osasuna, whose last home success was a 4-2 win over Alaves in early November, are looking to avoid a fourth game at home without a win.

They also needed a 90th-minute goal to see off third division Haro in the Copa del Rey last weekend.

Similarly Valladolid survived a scare in the Copa del Rey with a penalty shootout victory against Marbella.

A lack of goals has been a problem for Valladolid for much of the season. Sergi Guardiola and Óscar Plano are joint top scorers for them with just three goals. Osasuna may just edge this one.

Alaves's struggles away from home are halting their attempts to pull clear of the La Liga relegation zone and another miserable away trip could be on the cards against Levante.

Paco Lopez has seen his side beat Barcelona at home this season and after a good showing in defeat last time out away to Atletico Madrid, they look well placed to avenge their defeat to Alaves on the opening day of the season.

Alaves have won only once away from home all season, against Eibar, and have conceded seven goals in their last two away games.
