Match preview

Celta Vigo are in the midst of a relegation battle in La Liga but have the forward firepower to propel themselves out of the danger zone, starting with victory at Granada.

The visitors brought in Russian marksman Fedor Smolov on loan in January and, after netting in a draw at Real Madrid, he adds to an attack which already features Iago Aspas and Santi Mina.

Denis Suarez should return from an ankle injury this week as well and they can build on recent wins over Sevilla and Leganes by outscoring Granada.

Key stat

Celta Vigo have lost only one of their last seven games in La Liga.

Leganes v Alaves

Where to watch

LaLigaTV, 5.30pm Saturday

Best bet

Alaves draw no bet

Match preview

Martin Braithwaite's controversial switch to Barcelona on an emergency deal may well have been the final nail in the coffin of lowly Leganes.

The hosts have failed to net in three games against Levante, Real Betis and Celta Vigo and have managed only four wins in 25 league assignments this season.

Alaves have typically been stronger in their own back yard but have taken points from trips to Levante and Sevilla this year and should be able to assert their superiority.

Key stat

Leganes have lost seven of their 13 home league matches.

Eibar v Levante

Where to watch

LaLigaTV, midday Saturday

Best bet

Levante
1pt 3-1 general

Match preview

Levante are among the hardest La Liga clubs to pin down this season but they should be able to claim a valuable away win at Eibar, who are being dragged into the relegation dogfight.

While they saw off one El Clasico outfit in Real Madrid 1-0 last weekend, Eibar were on the end of a 5-0 demolition at the hands of the other, Barcelona.

That highlighted the defensive fragility of a side who have shipped 37 goals in 24 league fixtures and Levante, armed with ten-goal Roger Marti, should find a way through.

Key stat

Levante have won two of their last three games to nil.
