Second-placed St Pauli put a dent in Union Berlin's title aspirations last time out but they could face an entirely different threat against highflyers Cologne at the RheinEnergieStadion.

The visitors sank Union, a reserved outfit by nature, 3-2 courtesy of a stoppage-time goal from Alexander Meier but Cologne's attacking quality could be too much for them.

Cologne are licking their wounds after successive defeats to strong Union Berlin and Bochum sides but they can capitalise against a St Pauli rearguard who have conceded in nine of their last ten games.

Simon Terodde must be elated that he decided to return to Cologne, where he has notched 22 goals in 17 league appearances this term, putting him top of the Bundesliga 2 scoring charts.

Before their defeat to Union Berlin, Terodde had scored in six successive matches for Cologne and the last game in which they scored without him on the scoresheet was in October.

He netted a hat-trick in the 8-1 thrashing of Dynamo Dresden and his goalscoring form has seen him priced at 1-2 to score at any time against St Pauli.

Terodde has a habit of upping his game against the bigger sides. He bagged a brace in Cologne's 5-3 win in the reverse fixture against the Hamburg-based club earlier this season and could do so again.
