Two teams whose Eredivisie fate is all but settled square up when Feyenoord travel to basement boys Breda.

The visitors are wedged in third, clear of AZ Alkmaar in fourth and trailing second-place PSV by 18 points, while the best-case scenario for Breda this season is landing a place in the relegation playoffs.

Ruud Brood was appointed boss of the struggling hosts in March but has been unable to resurrect their season and they have won only once in their last 14 league assignments.

Bookmakers recognise the gulf in class between the sides, rating Breda as big as 13-2 to take the spoils.

Brood and former boss Mitchell van der Gaag have struggled to nail down a best starting 11 in their tenures - no Eredivisie side have used more than Breda's 33 players in 2018-19.

One constant, however, has been front man Mitchell te Vrede, who leads their league scoring charts with ten strikes for the season.

With the odds so heavily in the favour of Feyenoord, the best option for punters could be backing the 27-year-old marksman to open the scoring.

Breda have notched in four of their last five matches and, even if it is a mere consolation goal, they should breach the Rotterdammers, who have kept only two clean sheets in their last seven games.
