Much has been made of the controversial decision to postpone a round of Eredivisie matches to allow Ajax the maximum time possible to prepare for their Champions League semi-final against Tottenham and the Amsterdammers will be looking to head into the mini-break with a victory over Vitesse at the Johan Cruyff Arena.

Ajax's overwhelming goal difference advantage compared to that of joint-leaders PSV means barring a miracle they will win the title if they win their last three matches and Erik ten Hag's side are deservedly long odds-on to beat sixth-placed Vitesse.

The visitors have lost only one of their last ten games in the league and that includes home draws with Feyenoord and PSV but they lost both of their road encounters to those sides.

Ajax have scored a whopping 107 goals in 31 league matches and, while they have a variety of attacking weapons, it is a surprise to see penalty-taking ace Dusan Tadic at 4-1 to notch the opener.

Tadic easily tops the scoring charts for Ajax this term with 22 Eredivisie goals and with veteran striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar suspended following his red card at Groningen on Saturday there is an even greater chance the Serbian star will be used as a false nine.
