AFC Fylde have conceded just seven goals in 15 league games and can showcase their defensive qualities with victory and a clean sheet at home to Maidstone.

The Coasters boast the best defensive record in the National League, keeping nine clean sheets, and they should be key players in the promotion race providing they can turn draws into wins.

Fylde's goalless stalemate at Chesterfield last weekend was their eighth draw of the campaign but they should have too much firepower for Maidstone, who have scored just six times in seven away matches.

The visitors were beaten 3-0 at Mill Farm last term and they have already fired blanks on this season's trips to Halifax (3-0), Gateshead (1-0) and Salford (1-0).

Fylde can return to winning ways and odds-against quotes about them doing so with a fourth consecutive clean sheet are too good to refuse.

Eastleigh have recovered from a sloppy start to the season and can record a fifth straight league success when they host travel-sick Aldershot.

Eastleigh's excellent run has put them on the brink of the playoff places and three home clean sheets on the spin, which includes a 0-0 draw with Fylde, suggests the Shots could have their work cut out.

Gary Waddock's side are yet to record a victory on the road in seven attempts, firing blanks in four of those contests, and travel to Hampshire with plenty to prove.
