Cricket World Cup: latest betting and analysis as India knock out West Indies
Virat Kohli's men blow away Windies
The West Indies became the latest team to be knocked out of the World Cup as India made it five wins from five completed matches at Old Trafford.
Virat Kohli’s side bowled out the Windies for 143 to seal a 125-run victory in Manchester and they are 2-1 joint-favourites with Australia to win the tournament.
Kohli top-scored with 72 for India but they needed some late fireworks from MS Dhoni (56 not out) and Hardik Pandya (46) to drag them to 268-7.
A ruthless bowling display proved too much for the Windies and India roll on to Edgbaston, where they face England on Sunday.
India are 20-23 for victory in Birmingham while Eoin Morgan’s men are slight outsiders at evens.
England are out to 9-2 to win the tournament after their back-to-back losses to Sri Lanka and Australia.
New Zealand are 13-2 and Pakistan 10-1 while Bangladesh (100-1) and Sri Lanka (125-1) have slim chances of making the semi-finals.
