Chelsea should fear Sergio Aguero in League Cup final at Wembley

Man City loves scoring goals against the Blues

Manchester City are blessed with a plethora of attacking talents but none of his colleagues can match the pedigree and consistency of Sergio Aguero.

The Argentinian is the club's all-time leading goalscorer with 223 goals and his turn of pace, dribbling, eye for goal and tactical awareness strike fear into the meanest of defences.

Chelsea in particular are all too familiar with an Aguero masterclass and, with the 30-year-old boasting 15 goals and three assists in 18 appearances against the Blues, he is one to keep an eye on in Sunday's League Cup final.

Aguero has hit two hat-tricks against Chelsea, the latest coming in the 6-0 mauling at the Etihad earlier this month.

He operated through the centre in a front three on that occasion, scoring with all three of his shots on target and drawing three fouls from Chelsea players as he carved through their rearguard with Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva either side of him.

Aguero is tied with Mo Salah at the top of the Premier League scoring charts on 17 strikes but no player around him can better his average of 99 minutes per goal.

Chelsea have been lambasted for passing without purpose at times this term and if they are careless with their passes at Wembley, the diminutive Argentinian will be ready to pounce.
