After all the talk around the Estadio Olimpico in Rio over the past week of Olympic doubles – for Usain Bolt, Mo Farah and Elaine Campbell – it’s time for punters to look to a double of their own, in the sprint relays.

Jamaica look set to deny the United States the golds in both the men’s and women’s 4x100 metres, the heats of which get underway today.

The Americans have not won the men’s Olympics sprint relay since Sydney in 2000, with Bolt electrifying the Jamaican teams in 2008 and 2012.
