Bangladesh are 7-1 to reach the World Cup semi-finals after the 2-1 shots nailed a run-chase of 322 to beat the West Indies by nine wickets in Taunton.

Shakib Al Hasan, who scored an unbeaten 124 for the Tigers, is the leading runscorer in the tournament on 384 runs and Bangladesh are 100-1 – and as short at 40-1 – to lift the trophy.

The Windies, who traded at 8-1 for the World Cup after a comprehensive opening win over Pakistan, are out to 75-1.

England are 15-8 favourites but India are hot on their heels at 2-1 with Australia 3-1 and New Zealand, who face South Africa at Edgbaston on Wednesday, 15-2.

The Proteas are 10-1 for a top-four finish in the league stage and 50-1 to win the tournament after taking just three points from their first five matches.
