Live on Sky Sports Action, 6pm Sunday

Such is the level of optimism about Cleveland's season after they won just once last term that it was perhaps inevitable that something big would go wrong before they started.

Number one draft pick Myles Garrett was looking a beast in pre-season but has been hit by an ankle injury which looks sure to affect the Browns' ability to keep one of the NFL's top offences in check.

The Steelers have an excellent record against their AFC North rivals and can be relied on to score points - they have scored at least 24 in seven of their last nine games against them - and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has great playmakers such as running back Le'Veon Bell and star receiver Antonio Brown.

NFL season preview

Cleveland have had plenty of quarterback issues in the last few years but have put their faith in rookie DeShone Kizer having the same sort of impact in his first season as Dak Prescott did at Dallas last year.

The early signs have been decent and at least he has a good offensive line to play behind, which should also allow talented running back Isaiah Crowell to flourish.

The Browns were ranked 27th in touchdowns scored last year with an average of 1.8 per game, but they should be able to boost that this seasno and it is worth chancing that these rivals can provide plenty of entertainment in their opening clash.
