Champion Stakes winner Magical could be set for a surprise extension to her racing career, with Aidan O'Brien confirming the four-time Group 1 winner might race on this year.

O'Brien had initially indicated Magical was to be retired in October when the four-year-old was unable to run at the Breeders' Cup after spiking a temperature before her departure to the US.
