The latest betting news, going and non-runners for an action-packed day
The final acts of the British and Irish jumps season take place at Sandown and Punchestown, and there is more than just winners at stake.
Paul Nicholls and Nicky Henderson are battling for the British trainers' title, while Willie Mullins, who 12 months ago tried to best Nicholls at Sandown, is instead trying to fend off Gordon Elliott at Punchestown for the Irish equivalent.
Victory for Henderson's Arkle winner Altior in the Grade 1 bet365 Celebration Chase would likely secure Henderson victory in the title race, while at Punchestown two Grade 1s and a trio of valuable handicaps means there could be a few twists and turns before the Irish champion trainer for the 2016-17 season is confirmed.
For Flat fans, the new season continues to go through the gears, with meetings at Doncaster, Haydock, Leicester and Ripon. There is also all-weather action at Wolverhampton.
