Doc Sportello a fairytale fast-track winner for Herrington

Less than a month after Michael Herrington claimed Doc Sportello for £10,000, the five-year-old has now qualified for the sprint event on All-Weather Finals day following victory in the fast-track 5f conditions stakes.
It has been a fairytale spell for Herrington, who trains near Thirsk and who picked up the gelding after he won a course claimer at 66-1 on his sole start for Adam West.
