Who is Frankie Dettori riding on day five at Royal Ascot on Saturday?
It's the final day of Royal Ascot and Frankie Dettori will be looking to add more success to his three wins of the week. Here's how Dettori's rides on Saturday shape up, with a ride in six of the seven races . . .
Royal Ascot Saturday: Frankie Dettori's rides
Reach For The Moon
Chesham Stakes (2.30)
Dettori has teamed up with John and Thady Gosden's yard throughout the week, but he has his first ride in the royal silks this week when he partners the Queen's two-year-old Reach For The Moon in the Chesham. He was not too far behind the reopposing New Science on his debut run, and could come on for it.
Spotlight comment
Stayed on for second behind New Science at Yarmouth; open to progress
Fundamental
Jersey Stakes (3.05)
Dettori last rode Fundamental when coming home fifth in the Greenham Stakes, and since then the three-year-old was second in Listed company. There was promise in that run, but he faces some tough opposition in the likes of Listed winners Bellosa and Creative Force, and last year's Royal Ascot winner Tactical.
Spotlight comment
Has improved steadily, second in Listed race last time, but others have achieved more
Final Song is no stranger to Royal Ascot, having finished third in the Queen Mary in 2019 and seventh last year in the Jersey Stakes on soft ground. She spent the start of the season in Dubai but failed to impress on her return at York last month. However, Godolphin had a 18-1 winner earlier in the week and Dettori will be aiming for another surprise success.

Went close in Group 1 in Dubai in March but down the field in the Duke Of York since
Desert Safari
Wokingham Stakes (5.00)
Mark Johnston somewhat spoiled Dettori's Thursday by sending out Gold Cup winner Subjectivist, but this time the pair are teaming up with Desert Safari. Dettori did not have a ride in this handicap last season, while this is his first ride on the the four-year-old, who failed to deliver at Epsom 14 days ago.

Has improved, 6f AW and 5f turf wins 2021; needs more; Dettori 10-48 for yard last 5 yrs
It's another first ride on a Mark Johnston-trained runner for Dettori with King Frankel, who is coming to Ascot on a run of good form. The Frankel colt showed an admirable late charge to take second in his last run on Derby day, for which he was raised 3lb.
Spotlight comment
Notable 2nd in 1m2f handicaps on last two starts and looked capable of better last time
Falcon Eight
Queen Alexandra Stakes (6.10)
Dettori won the Chester Cup for the first time in 30 years with Falcon Eight last month and the pair team up again in the finale. Despite a bad draw, Falcon Eight was impressive on that seasonal return last month and has to be one of Dettori's best chances of the day.
Spotlight comment
Easy winner of the Chester Cup and on very favourable terms with most of this field
