• SUNNY MORNING: It is currently sunny and dry at Ascot ahead of Qipco British Champions Day, the going is unchanged following a dry night.
• GREEN LIGHT: Ffos Las passed a morning inspection this morning. Their seven-race card, which features the Welsh Champion Hurdle, goes ahead as planned.
• FRANKIE'S FEAR: Frankie Dettori has issued a concern about the draw for the Balmoral Handicap. He rides the well-fancied Lord North in the final race at Ascot but the pair are drawn in stall 20, with low numbers generally favourable.
