ITV Racing tips: one key runner from each of the six races on ITV4 on Thursday
1.50 Newmarket
Each Way Extra At bet365 Handicap, 6f
Group 1 winner Aclaim won this race in 2016 and Creative Force could be the smartest prospect in the contest based on his impressive course-and-distance debut success last year. He must bounce back from a poor show in the Coventry Stakes when last seen and comes up against useful York nursery winner Cairn Island.
SPOTLIGHT TIP:Looked smart prospect when making all over C&D last June; could have been let in lightly
NAF Fillies' Juvenile Handicap Hurdle, Grade 3, 2m1f
Fiveandtwenty makes a swift reappearance having finished a highly-respectable third behind Monmiral in the Grade 1 company at Aintree a week ago, but faces a tough test against the Nicky Henderson-trained Progressive and Irish raider Scholastic, who was third in a Fairyhouse Grade 2 last time.
SPOTLIGHT TIP:Has flashes of smart form and, not the biggest, this sort of ground will always help her
bet365 Wood Ditton Maiden Stakes, 1m
Restricted to unraced three-year-olds, two regally-bred runners for Godolphin clash as Ironside – one of two in the race for John and Thady Gosden – takes on the Charlie Appleby-trained Valiant Prince, who is bred to be a top-level performer as a son of Dubawi out of Group 1-winning mare Chachamaidee.
SPOTLIGHT TIP:Bred in the purple and represents the yard that sent out the 2017 winner; high on the list
Thursday's free racing tips: six horses to consider putting in your multiples
Citipost Mares' Handicap Hurdle, Listed, 2m4½f
Grade 2 winner Bourbon Beauty and the Paul Nicholls-trained Eglantine Du Seuil are vying for favouritism in a race that has changed complexion with key non-runners. Newbury winner Regarding Ruth is another contender.
SPOTLIGHT TIP:Irish Roe
Easy to make a case for her being well handicapped returned to these conditions
bet365 Abernant Stakes, Group 3, 6f
This race is all about the return of last year's July Cup winner Oxted, who bids for back-to-back successes in the contest having won the rescheduled running of the race last June before his top-level win on the July Course. Top-class handicapper Summerghand and Group 2 winner Shine So Bright are among the opposition.
SPOTLIGHT TIP:
2020 winner; failed to shine on dirt in Saudi Arabia but the clear pick on his best form
bet365 Craven Stakes, Group 3, 1m
Godolphin and Ballydoyle runners dominate the head of the market for this prestigious Classic trial. Favourite is Master Of The Seas, trained by Charlie Appleby, who was an impressive winner of the Superlative Stakes on the July course last season and is a general 20-1 chance for the 2,000 Guineas. He faces Group 3-winning stablemate La Barrosa and the Aidan O'Brien-trained pair Khartoum and Sandhurst.
SPOTLIGHT TIP:Turned over on sole run this year but the first-time hood could help this Group 2 winner
