Comparisons have been readily drawn between Snowfall and her year-older stablemate Love. Both were raced heavily as juveniles, failing to set the world alight, before transforming at three to become wide-margin winners of a couple of Classics.

Love took the Yorkshire Oaks after landing her second Classic success last year, just as Snowfall attempts to now. Here comes the first major divergence: the opposition have not ducked Snowfall like they did Love.
