Nobody has trained more winners of the Cambridgeshire than John Gosden and he attempts to complete a hat-trick in the historic handicap by saddling just one runner in Al Rufaa.

Gosden is bidding to make it six winners overall and not only has he been the best trainer in quantity of victories, he also leads the way in the quality of his winners.i

He has been responsible for some of the best to have claimed this prize and his most famous winner is probably his first. Halling will forever be remembered by those who saw him storm up the Newmarket straight in 1994 and he went on to become a star, winning five Group 1s in the following two seasons when trained by Saeed bin Suroor.
