On A Session now heads the market, but find out what the trainers of other key fancies have to say.
What they say
Tom Dascombe, trainer of Fools Rush In
Ireland didn't work out for him last time but he's run well all season besides that. He seems in good nick and it's a race that should suit him. The ground will play into his strengths and he likes a turning track. Musselburgh is a long way to go for us, so we don't run them unless they've got a solid chance.
Roger Fell, trainer of Muntadab
He's an old horse who still loves to race and is in the form of his life right now. He always tries 100 per cent for us, so I'm more than happy with him. He wants soft ground and likes Musselburgh but he needs to be out in front. If we set him up right for the race, then he won't let us down.
Michael Dods, trainer of Northern Express
We could do with conditions drying up a bit as his best form is on decent ground but we just wanted one last run this season. He's done well so far and I think he'll strengthen up and be better next year. He had a bad start at Ascot when he was wearing the hood, so we took it off for his last run and it seemed to work.
Tim Easterby, trainer of Danzan
He's not got a good draw, which is disappointing but I think he'll run well anyway. He's in good form and seems to like the track. He's been spot-on for us this season and the soft ground won't bother him.
