All the latest updates from around the tracks as racing returns to Bath
It is welcome back to Bath after the Somerset course's unequal struggle against the hottest summer on record which led to their midsummer fixtures being transferred elsewhere.
A lack of a watering system proved costly to the Arc track but this is hopefully the first of five remaining meetings this year.
Southwell provides the only jumping action today and starts with a rare runner in Britain for County Limerick trainer Charles Byrnes as his Killarney winner Not For You is his first runner at the Nottinghamshire venue in contesting the Jigsaw Sports Branding Handicap Chase (2.00).
The all-weather bookends the day with Lingfield starting and Wolverhampton ending the action with Gowran Park and Ffos Las in between times.

Final thought
It's good to have Bath back in business and with runners from as far afield as Newmarket. Ironically, the three-runner feature fillies' handicap looks the most competitive from early betting on the seven-race card.
