Neon Wolf to wait for Neptune as ground dries out

Neon Wolf will wait for Wednesday's Neptune Investment Management Novices' Hurdle after Harry Fry decided against Tuesday's Sky Bet Supreme Novices' owing to the drying ground.
The impressive Exeter and Haydock winner had been backed into around 4-1 for the Supreme on non-runner no bet terms, but the Neptune, for which he is generally around 7-4, was always the likelier target.
Fry, who has decided against risking the delicate but talented American in the RSA Chase, said on Sunday: "We've said all along it would have to be proper soft for Neon Wolf to run in the Supreme, and with it drying out now he'll be better suited to the Neptune."
He added: "American is fragile and after discussions with the owner and Noel [Fehily] we've decided against the RSA as it's very unlikely to be slow enough for him by then."
Betfair Hurdle runner-up Moviewiththetimes is another who will not run in the Supreme. He was a best-priced 7-1 chance but has been ruled out of Cheltenham with a minor setback.
Paul Nicholls, speaking on his Betfair blog on Sunday, said: "Movewiththetimes was a little bit sore behind after a routine canter this morning and it looks like he has pulled a muscle behind.
"I'm gutted he'll not be able to go to Cheltenham as he was one of my best chances of the week. As it doesn't look too serious we'll try to have him ready for Aintree or maybe Punchestown."
