It has been a great season as I‘ve already ridden 13 winners in point-to-points andone on the track, and last month we trained a four-year-old winner with Shanagh Bob at Ballindenisk.
We got him at the August sale in Tattersalls. He was in the ring very early in the morning and there was nobody in the ring when we went to buy him.
I thought we might have had to pay €15,000 or €20,000 and we would have, as we liked him, but it just so happened that luck was on our side and we were able to get him for €10,000. We certainly weren’t complaining!
