The hunter chase campaign during the autumn season is a compact one, consisting of just three races spread across little more than a month.

For 2017, the number of races remains consistent at three, however there is a notable change to the opening hunter chase of the season, which typically has been staged at Wexford, as it is now on the move.

It brings to an end a race which has been graced in recent years by the likes of Cheltenham Foxhunter winners Tammys Hill and Salsify, as well as star pointing mare Maple Mons, who prevailed in last year’s renewal.
