HEAVY rain in the hours leading up to Saturday’s East Antrim Harriers’ fixture at Loughanmore ensured that the going changed drastically and proved to be a real test for the runners throughout the six-race card.

However, the testing conditions did not deter the locally trained horses who carried the colours of Wilson Dennison, the landowner on whose land the meeting took place, as he enjoyed a double.

He first won the race carrying his company’s name, the Dennsion Commercials four-year-old maiden, where his Jerrysback ran out a convincing winner.
