I loved watching Tahmuras winning the Tolworth Hurdle this month. He's a horse I had bought privately in France from his breeder Lesley Stewart.
Donnchadh Doyle bought him from me for €10,000 at the Derby sale in 2020 and I couldn’t believe the price he got for him [£68,000].
He was a very well-made horse and I was mad about him going to the sale, but there were no English buyers allowed into the sale due to the Covid restrictions at the time, so Donnchadh Doyle had it all to himself.
