All roads led to Lismore on Sunday for the unveiling of the new Castlelands track on the outskirts of the heritage town and it is a fixture that will live long in the memory of teenagers Josh Berry and Danny Fitzgerald as the pair both recorded initial career victories.

The 17-year-old Berry, a fifth year student at St Peter’s College in Wexford, had a dream start to his race-riding career when he made his initial mount a successful one by landing the West Waterford Hunt & Lismore Harriers open on his father Johnny Berry’s seasonal debutant A Rated.
