Kilmore-based owner-trainer John Byrne celebrated his first success after Starvoski's victory in the five-year-old mares’ maiden.

The daughter of Aizavoski held all the aces on the run to the final fence and forged clear to beat Lady KK by ten lengths under Tiernan Power Roche.

"She's a mare who has always works well and my son James does a lot of the work with her. She'll probably go to the sales now,” said Byrne.
