Emtara (82+) made a winning debut in a steadily run race which resulted in than nine horses being covered by less than five lengths around the home bend. A good turn of foot was therefore a big advantage and she picked up best from the last to win in the manner of a promising future middle-distance performer.

Broken Halo (92+) was always up with the pace and he began to take control on the run-in in a competitive looking race in which the front three, who all look smart, pulled clear.
