The Ian Ferguson-trained Slate House set Sunday’s Tattersalls meeting alight with a spectacular success in division two of the Louth Hunt four-year-old geldings’ maiden.

Fifth on his debut at Loughanmore, when finishing behind Friday’s Haydock Bumper winner Claimantakinforgan and Monday’s Kempton victor Lough Derg Spirit, the Presenting gelding brushed aside his seven rivals in impressive fashion, overcoming a final-fence error to defeat newcomer Ringmoylan by ten lengths.

Carrying the colours of Wilson Dennison, who won this race with subsequent Grade 1 winner Yorkhill, the owner is now likely to sell the chestnut gelding.
