Declan Queally is certainly enjoying success this season as he combines his dual role of jockey and trainer, with Rodeo Dodo in the adjacent maiden at Bandon on Sunday providing the Waterford native with his latest win.

That winner proved to be his tenth victory of the season, with those ten successes coming on the Cork-Waterford circuit propelling him to the top of the riders’ leaderboard in the southern region.

Seven of those ten winners have been achieved aboard horses he also trains, with his yard enjoying a purple patch in recent weeks.
