O’Sullivan’s Foxhunter triumph a resounding win for pointing
There were so many highlights at last week's Cheltenham Festival that you might think it would be difficult to know where to start.
From the point-to-point angle there's no question of beginning anywhere but the St James's Place Foxhunter Chase, which produced an amazing win for Eugene and Maxine O'Sullivan with It Came To Pass.
He's a point-to-pointer/hunter chaser in the traditional sense. Jim Culloty won a maiden with him at Ballindenisk in November 2015 and he took a maiden hunter chase at Limerick the following month. He had a few runs in ordinary chases for Jim, but was soon back in the point-to-point field with Eugene who has won three hunter chases with him since last April.
