The champion lady point-to-point rider Aileen O’Sullivan was the star attraction at the launch of the Dowth point-to-point and country fair, which will take place alongside the Meath and Tara meeting at the course on Sunday October 30.

O’Sullivan, from Walterstown, County Meath, started the countdown to the event, which last year drew a crowd of more than 3,000.

This year there will be a larger Boyne Valley artisan food fair which will feature Michelin-star chef Richard Corrigan. He will be giving cookery demonstrations using locally sourced produce.
