O’Neill makes his title intentions clear with a timely treble
Rue Hill claimed the scalp of On The Fringe
Reigning champion jockey Barry O’Neill pounded out a title warning to his opponents with a treble.
The first leg came in the divided opening Walsh Whiskey Distillery four-year-old mares’ maiden race on the Colin Bowe-trained Western Victory.
Owned by Sean O’Neill, the daughter of Westerner made all before quickening clear in the straight to win by 10 lengths from Carrolls Milan.
