The first leg came in the divided opening Walsh Whiskey Distillery four-year-old mares’ maiden race on the Colin Bowe-trained Western Victory.

Owned by Sean O’Neill, the daughter of Westerner made all before quickening clear in the straight to win by 10 lengths from Carrolls Milan.
